What is Cyanotype?
Cyanotype is an early photography process that creates beautiful blue-and-white prints using sunlight. Invented in the 1840s, it’s a simple, hands-on technique: you brush a special solution onto paper or fabric, arrange objects like leaves or flowers on top, and then expose it to sunlight. The result is a stunning blue image with unique patterns and contrasts. Easy to learn and fun to experiment with, cyanotype is a perfect way to explore creative photography. Join our workshop to make your own beautiful blue artwork!
