Arts Diverse-City invites you to a powerful gathering honouring the history, resilience, and identity of women. Rooted in Gloucester’s rich heritage, this event explores the deep connections between HAIR—a symbol of power, belonging, and legacy—and the personal journeys that shape us.

What to Expect:

• Poetry & Spoken Word: A platform for voices to echo history, identity, and cultural strength.

• Exhibition & Installations: Artistic expressions symbolising the significance of HAIR in shaping personal and collective narratives.

• Panel Discussion: Poets, artists, and cultural leaders explore the themes of belonging, home, and heritage.

• Community Conversations: An inclusive space to reflect, connect, and share lived experiences.

• 12:00 PM – Doors Open | Welcome & Networking

• 12:30 PM – Opening Remarks & Exhibition Introduction

• 1:00 PM – Tour and discussion about the Exhibition

• 2:30 PM – Open MIC Discussion: Belonging, Home & Hair

• 3:00 PM – Interactive Discussion & Audience Reflections

• 3:30 PM – Closing Performances & Final Words

• 4:00 PM – Event Ends with thanks

This is more than an event—it is a tribute to the women who have shaped our communities, past and present. Please note that the exhibition will stay up a few days after the event giving you time to view the installations!
